Microsoft Office is now officially supporting Android Lollipop tablets and x86 chips

Earlier this year, we reported that Microsoft Office and Office Suite, which includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint, was already available for Android tablets. However, it was not compatible with all devices, as two of the requirements to use it was to have an Android 4.4.x KitKat -it could be installed in Lollipop, but errors could occur at use-, and necessarily based on ARM chipset.
 

The news now are that both requirements have passed into history, and now we can use the applications also on tablets with Android 5.0 Lollipop and above, and in those with processors with x86 architecture, ie which mounted Intel chipsets. Yes, still are preview versions, but should not present problems.


To enjoy them, you first need to join Google+ community by sending a request, and once they accept you and you become testers, you will have free access to download new versions of the three apps, of which we leave the download links below:
