Facebook will allow you to read full articles without leaving the page

Facebook has accelerated as far as news is concerned and soon your news feed on the social network may be quite different from what it is now. A few weeks ago they announced a change in the log to show more publications of your close friends and fewer pages. Starting this month, Facebook will host content from other sites without access to the web that is published.

This initiative, called "Instant Articles" is focused on improving load times especially for mobile applications. Among the first partners that will Facebook at the beginning of this adventure are the New York Times, National Geographic and Buzzfeed.

Who publish your articles in this way can stay all the money generated by advertising if the advertiser is one that brings the publication, however if it's Facebook that hired it, the network will keep 30% of revenue. This agreement shows that Facebook do not see this option as a direct way to make money but as a way for users to not need to leave the social network to check content and browsing and then follow it, increasing the time of stay, and generate higher revenues. In this way, publications can stay all the money generated by advertising.

A few days ago Facebook announced a change in the algorithm with which begin to show more friends and fewer publications pages. The network feels strong because of the dependence of many publications visits leading and their strategy seems aimed at forcing publications to jump through hoops: or raisins per box to promote your post and this will have less visibility, and this new movement for housing directly retain users on their network but difficult these then surf the page author. A Machiavellian strategy.
