Google Docs for Android is updated in search of improvements that provide a better user experience. In the last major upgrade, full screen reading were added, bringing comfort to the use thereof. Now, developments are mainly related to images, and using these Office applications without being connected to the Internet.
This time, the changes are unique to Docs and Slides, and are as follows:
- Insert pictures from your smartphone or tablet
It may seem obvious, but until now images could not be added to a document or presentation stored in the memory of our own device. From now on, we can add images from the gallery, or take a picture and add it at the time.
- Trim Images
Another novelty is to cut the images that we add in a presentation. Of course, something imperatively necessary, so now we can do a more professional job from the device, without relying on a computer to edit the images. To access the trimming mode, we only have to double tap to edit the image, and we can do it at will.
- It works without being connected to the network
Finally, this Google update now lets you work with documents and presentations without being connected to Internet. Until now, we had the ability to view documents offline, but not edit them. Now, if we can continue to edit offline from anywhere, which of course is a perfect match, given that a mobile device is specifically designed for this, move and may wherever we go, we are in any area where we can not be connected to the Internet.
These are all major developments in the new update of Google Documents and Google Presentations. For now, the new versions are not yet available on Google Play, although they will in brief. Anyways, we leave here the links to download the APK file of both apps, and that you can enjoy without waiting for these update with all the improvements.
