Now you can download Angry Birds 2 for Android

This is not another simple version of the first Angry Birds, this is Angry Birds 2, so changes and developments are much bigger. Luckily, as we can see for ourselves, Angry Birds 2 can be downloaded from Google Play for free.

Angry Birds 2 was introduced last Tuesday, July 28, and two days later we can download from the app store. The game brings a handful of improvements, and contains features that makes it one of the most entertaining games you can play on Android now: improved graphics, bird free choice on every pitch, multi-stage levels, new and powerful spells, challenge players around the world in the Arena
Online tournaments daily, boss pigs and over 240 levels.

Thus, in this renewed release of Angry Birds, it has attached great importance to the strategy. Now, we can choose what we want to use bird on every pitch, not like before, we would appear one after another automatically. However, this will be beneficial or harmful depending on our choice, because depending on the moment, we agree more either.

Also shown bosses will be harder to defeat. To try and try to be performing well, we have powerful spells like Blizzard, spicy chillies, ducks gold, and more. Some spells that can be used throughout the more than 240 levels available from the beginning.

OK Google already allows us to send text messages through third-party applications

Gradually Google Now is becoming a more and more complete personal assistant, and does what it needsas Cortana of Windows is getting closer.

One of the advantages of having a smartphone with Android operating system is to have all the benefits of a brand like Google. One of its flagship services is Google Now, a powerful wizard that makes our lives easier remembering important dates or recommending activities according to our tastes.

One of its main features is to use voice commands by OK Google. Thanks to this, we can open applications, ask for time or send text messages or e-mails to the person we want. Now, Google takes another step forward, allowing us to send text messages to our contacts through third party applications like WhatsApp or Viber Telegram.

Before we could only do this with an electronic mail or SMS, and for this we can ask to OK Google to send text message to [insert contact name here]. Now, if we say 'OK Google' we can send to our contact a message via WhatsApp, for example. Quite useful, especially if our hands are busy driving for example.

The good thing is that we can perform this action from other devices than your smartphone, eg a smartwatch with  Android Wear. The trouble is that as always, is available only in English for now, although Google says they are working to make it available as soon as possible in all other languages.

Almost 100% of Android users at risk by new malware

The security expert Joshua Drake of Zimperium, has been commissioned to find the vulnerability and provide more information about Stagefright, and information certainly is not encouraging. Since version Android  2.2 Froyo to the most recent, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it is susceptible to succumbing to hacker attack, or what is the same, 95% of Android terminals currently active.

Apparently the security flaw is in the Stagefright library, which can make way for a third party to control 100% of the terminal after it has been infected with malicious software via a video. That is, any communication application that allows sending multimedia files, such as messaging, would be a gateway to the hacker.

However, the biggest problem is in Google Hangouts, which we've heard not many other important security issue recognized by Google itself does. If the currently selected as default SMS application, we need only get the video to infect. Nor is it necessary to open the message, or play the video, or do anything. Our device can be in the hands of another person without our knowledge, and can occur even before we hear the sound of the arrival of the message.

Google has already admitted the problem, curiously there since last April, but has been now that has come to light. The solution would be updated with a security patch, remember all those , 95% terminals in danger, thing that the Mountain View company has already started working, and indeed has already contacted the manufacturers to be at work to combat this problem.

But it would be very naive to believe that all these terminals could receive some kind of renovation, especially the oldest. Drake himself has said that only 20% of current active smartphones may receive the "cure", a figure that hopefully could increase as much as 50%. This depends nothing less than the manufacturers, and the desire to have these to protect users.

Fallout Shelter has a date of arrival to Android

It's been a resounding success in iOS, and soon it will be on Android. We are talking about Fallout Shelter, the game Bethesda has launched for mobile devices, among other things to liven up the wait until the arrival of Fallout 4. The company announced at last the arrival to Android, after virtually two months landing exclusively in the Apple App Store.

And the date fixed for Android users to enjoy Fallout Shelter is on the 13th of August. Eventually, we can enjoy for the first time this magnificent saga, in which our mission is to build and manage our own shelter, and get well survive in a devastated post-apocalyptic world that tries to rise from the ashes.

On this basis, one of our main concerns will be to obtain the necessary resources and not die trying, and obviously, all those resources are less abundant. Assign tasks to our fellow refugees -each one will be unique- qualities or attributes so that we can create a stable and self-sufficient system to carry this survival at its best.

In addition to the news of the departure on Android, Bethesda also announced the inclusion in the game of Mr. Handy. Those who have played previous Fallout already know him, he is that wheel robot that accompanies us on our adventure and it is very helpful for us on many occasions, either to help fight the enemies, take what we encounter around the road, etc. This content will come by way of premium reward for all users, both Android and iOS.

YouTube is updated incorporating a video editor

The YouTube app for Android just received an update that gives a pretty remarkable face wash and some performance tweaks and a new very cool feature: a video editor. With this new feature we can add free music library to our personal YouTube videos, and we can also edit their duration and even add a few visual filters.

The changes more notice as a user do not stay there, as the latest YouTube has gotten a redesign of the main application. Now this is separated into three separate tabs: A principal showing suggestions based on user interests, a tab that will keep us abreast of our subscriptions and last tab that will give us access to our own management.

As we read in the official YouTube blog, the last remarkable novelty of this update of YouTube is the ability to watch recorded video full screen vertically. This means you will not need to juggle to enjoy a video of this kind, and when we execute clicking the full-screen option will not be between two black bars. This feature also will be in iOS.

Returning to the subject of the video editor, it is quite surprising as addition. The possibilities to interact more immediately still recording and editing video from anywhere and then upload them to YouTube significantly increases the social skills of this popular video streaming service.

If you have not received the update YouTube still, do not worry, should be there soon or in the coming days. The truth is that with this new feature the chances of winning immediacy YouTube Mobile is, we insist, very interesting and focused on the social video. Perhaps it was not necessary, but it is something that gives a breath of fresh air to YouTube for Android.

Hearthstone gets more benefits in its mobile version than on desktop version

Probably most of you have already tried Hearthstone, the card game Blizzard set in the world of World of Warcraft. The computer game was a great success, not only in critical, but also in number of users and benefits.

This is a free game where you do not need to spend a single dollar for fun, if you want to be competitive, but for games to get to the top you need to buy envelopes to create a good deck of cards, but this does not prevent the casual player has a good time and with time and patience to get the cards needed.

Following this success, Blizzard wanted to expand the universe Hearthstone to mobile platforms, platforms constantly growing and increasingly investing in these brands with reputable and quality titles. First it was for iOS, later came to Android, but we can say that if Hearthstone triumphed in computers, it has become even better on mobile devices.

The profits made by Blizzard thanks to Hearthstone on smartphones and  tablets, and outweigh the benefits they get with Hearthstone computer version. The reasons may be many, but we bet that users may prefer to take their games from a tablet, since we can not forget that both computer and mobile versions are exactly the same.

Playing Hearthstone on the computer is comfortable, but lying on the couch it is even more. Another option is that users of Hearthstone both iOS as Android-devices are more likely to pay for envelopes cards unlikely, or something that is just flood of profits coincided with the different promotions and offers available to buy envelopes by Amazon.

First leaked images of Samsung Galaxy Note 5

We are eager to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The information point to the day 13 of August  when we will see this device, when submitting the Samsung phablet.

So far all we had were a few specifications and the promise that it would come together to S6 Edge Plus, a big brother to phablet Galaxy S6 style but without the S-Pen that characterizes the Note range.

These are the specifications that we handle:

- Display 5.67" Super AMOLED QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) with support to classic S-Pen, which could come only from its slot.

- Samsung Exynos 7433 SoC that combines an eight-core processor and 64-bit, GPU, RAM, storage and LTE modem (Shannon 333 LTE) in a single chip.

- 4 GB RAM LP-DDR4.

- Standard wireless charging, both PMA and WPC.

- Four colors: black, white, gold and silver with glass rear panel.

Now a few pictures of the two models presented have being leaked. The design is quite similar to previous editions; Edge S6 Plus is the same model as its brother but little larger. Meanwhile, the Note retain the lines of the range but would be made entirely of glass in the back, somehow emulating the Galaxy S6.

Google+ Photos disappears and make way for the new Google Photos application in August

Indispensable today is the ability to perform backups in the cloud. Therefore, Google has created a great service called Photos to support all your photos and videos for unlimited access from both your phone and other platforms such as the PC via the service website.

Despite all the advantages, one drawback was that it was integrated into the social network Google+ app. Fortunately, last year we confirmed rumors about the separation of Google Photos of the social network, which would result in an application independent and fully renovated.

After the past Google I/O was presented the new application called Photos, now without relying on any other service or application and with the advantage of being updated by Google Play Store.

The Mountain View giant has confirmed through social network Google+ they are abandoning the current service to make way for a new digital phase of renewed and more potential Photos, Google being the only one offering the support of pictures and videos in the cloud.

This will be effective on August 1, in which users who do not yet have the new application can not continue using the service, so they will have access to Google Play and download the new application if they so wish.

Even though it dissapears, your photos will be supported permanently, since servers used for backups are the same, only changing application is made to push it and as we said, to start a new stage.

Sony is looking for users to test a new version of Xperia UI

Sony is trying to evolve. Now the Japanese company is preparing a nearly complete refurbished Xperia UI as part of a concept that has been called "Sony's Android Concept". According to the commented on the website to register for the beta, they have designed this program to give users the opportunity to try a firmware which is a twist in the world of one of the latest flagships from Sony. We refer to the Sony Xperia Z3.

At the moment this program is limited only to Sony Swedish users, and the register on the website clearly says that will "enjoy a new user experience" before adding that prototype of the Sony Xperia UI version. As expected, Sony has not revealed anything about this prototype, but according targeted at Android Authority we could be talking about the first major Sony rejuvenated layer customizing in a while.

Just change the layer of customization searches that may compete with other like TouchWiz in point of differentiation, and perhaps this prototype to be deployed in Sweden could be the new Xperia UI. However, keep in mind that many users were attracted to the layer of Sony due to its low additional customization.

It is no coincidence that Sony have chosen Sweden as a test. It is in this country where R&D division of the manufacturer is located, but according to the source point in the work that is being done in the software are losing intensity. This could indicate that the firmware is approaching its beta phase.

Moreover, although this is venturing much, it could also be taken as a kind of track that gives validity to the rumors of the launch of a new Sony device at IFA Berlin for missing just six weeks. In communities of users of social networks, users have often spoken that Sony must change its product strategy. It may almost completely remodel its user interface is the first step to it.

It is true that in most industries the changes are bad, but the industry of mobile telephony works just the opposite. The lack of major changes in the hardware and software of Sony has been most criticized between users, and perhaps the new user interface is the answer to these criticisms.

How to enable WiFi on Android Wear 5.1

Google has a wide range of operating systems. Android and variants of the operating system such as Android Auto, Android TV and the one we talk about today, Android Wear. The operating system for devices wearables market and is being well received.

After a time in the market, it has been in the last update where we have received major upgrades. With Android 5.1.1 for Android Wear in our watch we could connect to the WiFi network and be independently from our smartphone. As you know, and if it is not we explained it, with Android Wear watches you require a smartphone to be connected by Bluetooth to connect to the Internet. With this update, it is no longer necessary.

This means that if your watch is connected to the same WiFi network as the smartphone you will not require Bluetooth. A smart way to significantly improve the range between watch and smartphone. But not all users of Android Wear can use this new feature, only those who have a Moto 360, Sony SmartWatch 3 or LG G Watch Urbane.

To do this you need to use the Android Wear application that you should already have on your smartphone to pair the two devices. Here we go to "Settings" and then to "Cloud Sync" and activate it. Now we are going to watch, we move to the settings and "WiFi Settings" appear. Here we connect to it and it will ask if we have the password, then we open the application on our smartphone to enter the password. Once introduced, we will be connected to the WiFi network.

- Go to Android Wear settings on the smartphone
- Cloud Sync enabled
- Android Wear settings on the watch now
- Go to WiFi Settings and tap on the desired network
- Open application on the device to enter the password (if any)
- Ready

A very simple to do and for any user with Moto 360, Smartwatch 3 or LG G Watch Urbane watch should try it.

Messenger for Android allows connection and use without Facebook account

Recently, Facebook Messenger introduced a desired novelty among its members. This innovation allowed the use of the instant messaging application with your phone number, without using a Facebook account. It was unfortunately only available on a trial basis for the US, Canada, Peru and Venezuela, in the absence of a global launch that allowed to extend even further through the use of the app as if it were WhatsApp.

So, from this moment Facebook has opened the possibility to everyone, without country limitations, region or the like, to use the popular instant messaging application, "We are excited to announce the opportunity for all to use Messenger without Facebook account. from now is available worldwide."

As with WhatsApp Messenger, to use it you only need to access the application and instead sign up with Facebook, you click the New button below it. Then you need to enter your phone number by simply dialer displayed once the necessary checks and will ask you to name and photo to your identification, both personally and for your contacts.

The entire operation of the Messenger application is the same, nothing changes at all and you can continue using all the features like video calls face-to-face with your contacts, but now with no obligation to use Facebook to log in.

Although not mentioned anything at all, is just like whether the application can use instant messaging Messenger but through its web version, which would add more potential and be positioned at a higher step above WhatsApp website currently rather limited and in great need of updates and features like this.

This War of Mine, war game of survival

In recent times, the videogame industry is seeing a severe change with the introduction of indie companies, aimed at providing an excellent result with a strong emphasis on artistic topics, sound and narrative. This War of Mine is a clear example of this, after its success in PC collected last year, the company 11 bit Studios has decided to launch on other platforms, such as Android.

We take the role and control of our character, a civilian refugee and affected by intense war that is living in the city and try to avoid the dangers that lurk around every corner. The place is an abandoned building, accompanied by another two civilians than we control and manage all their tasks at any time, day or night.

During the day, snipers are on the lookout for our presence and keep us out of our shelter. Therefore, it is the right time to manage the food, make the necessary maintenance and trade with our partners to ensure common survival. Once the sun goes light, it is the perfect place to hide in the dark and pick up supplies and all kinds of objects to stay alive and keep alive the trade shelter our neighbors now.

The game is dark, sad, deep and you spread desolation and fear of war. It is not easy, far from it, but you should keep in mind that every decision is -as happens with The Walking Dead- crucial in the development of your story.

Undoubtedly, it is one of those games that are worth having and make the purchase without thinking, especially if you have it available in both tablets and Android TV, by having the chance to enjoy it in a big screen, without it the experience would not be the same.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Random-access memory confirmed

We still know news regarding one of the most anticipated devices of the year, which will surely be one of the best, so we want to see what Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has. It has now been revealed through the source Sammobile some info as interesting as other data: the amount and type of RAM used, whose informants usually always succeed in their confirmations.

Thus, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will also use a RAM of 4 GB and Type LP-DDR4, and say well, because we have seen recently that one of the most anticipated devices in the coming months, the OnePlus Two, also use exactly the same configuration for RAM. But surely these two will not be the only ones.

In addition to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, it is expected that all or at least most of the next high-end Android devices will make use of 4 GB of RAM LPDDR4. OnePlus Two said that according to their own feedback it is the best device left to come, and to be seen whether the rest will follow it, which is quite likely. Xiaomi Mi 5, the new Google Nexus or Motorola Moto X 2015 are some of the new top-end we will see before the end of the year with this RAM too.

For now, we not only hope to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in action, which by the way, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, could be presented early rather than waiting until September, a month marked on the calendar by all followers of the Samsung Galaxy Note range.

Wave of warnings on P2P sites from Chrome and Firefox

Since yesterday is very likely that the following has occurred to you: the Chrome and Firefox browsers have qualified several websites with links to P2P download sites with malicious code as showing a warning with a completely red background and quite apocalyptic. It is the case of Rarbg, ExtraTorrent or KickassTorrents, among others.

This is not a lock, but the page acts almost as one apparently offering a unique option to return to the page where we were before. You can always move forward "at your own risk" if you click on Details, then click the button to go to the website anyway. It is quite hidden, but not impossible to find.

Right now many of these sites have already solved this problem, but when Google still had active websites qualified as simply "suspicious" warning that some sites could install malware that installs additional listings in secure sites. And remove the malware, in some cases, it is quite complicated.

The question is: why suddenly Chrome and Firefox have called P2P download sites as suspects so quickly? It is impossible not to think of some kind of strategy behind this movement, while still allowing access to the sites is able to scare away the vast majority of people. Meanwhile, Google has simply been limited to reiterate its policy of protection from some websites containing malware.

The official helmet of Mega Man is a reality

Capcom has finally created an official Mega Man helmet, giving us the excuse to never discover our head anymore. Sometimes we talk about developments and wonder "How come no one has thought of it before?".

That's the case with this helmet of Mega Man, the protagonist of the saga of the same name and probably the most famous character of Capcom (apart from fighters of Street Fighter). Unfortunately Mega Man has been somewhat abused by Capcom in recent years; the latest installment of the saga was the retro self-tribute to Mega Man 10 which came out in 2010.

At least it keeps coming merchandising, as this official helmet of Mega Man, toys and stuffed animals, ideal for the nostalgic. The town also appears that is beautifully designed, created in high quality ABS plastic.

We can take off and put on the helmet easily with a hinge design, and has LED lights on the sides, so we can use it as a decorative object or put it and go jumping around while we fired our cannon arm. Of course, it gives some fear that Capcom has not announced the price, only the helmet will be available for booking at the official store, so you can wait for the worst.

New Android malware: a fake NES emulator that steals information and makes you pay

We must always be careful when downloading an application from dubious origin (see Identify potential malware for your Android device), because it can be a common method to get malware ready to steal our information, or a way to subscribe to premium SMS or make us pay for something we should not and we do not wanted to when download it. Google has its own antimalware security systems, but something always manages to dodge the safety analysis that Google Play makes to all applications, and this time the alarms have jumped a big way.

This time the danger is for several reasons, because it contains all the potential pitfalls you want to avoid. The application is a seemingly helpless NES emulator, which in principle should not be dangerous, but when we installed are already committed, since the application will start sending our personal information without permission, which is illegal entry. Apart from that, if we are in a place other than China, we will add a list of premium SMS with our bill that could seriously increase our spending if we do not realize and do not cancel it.

It does not end there, because the application also force us to make a payment within the app, no promises to finish running. Payment is made through Paypal or Moneybookers and payment round the 0.49 dollars, something really suspicious, because the payments must be made through Google Wallet so you have greater control on the part of the application store.

It's never a bad time to remember to be careful with the applications, whatever it may be. It is true that Google Play is an environment with a high percentage of safety, with numerous measures to protect users, but there is always a way to bypass the controls, so caution through common sense is always short. It never hurts to sign up to install an antivirus on our smartphone or tablet and always review comments if given some notice.
