Google Project Tango lowers its price in half

There was a long time since we had last news about one of the most interesting projects that Google kept on, this is Project Tango. A system for creating "mapped" 3D cameras mobile devices. It started as a phone, finally becoming a tablet, with the help of LG.

The last thing we learned is that the initiative came from Google incubator because they spent two years at Google ATAP taking shape, and since early this year has been emancipated to be taking shape product. We know that Google wants to bring it closer to the public, which are mainly developers today.

For those who have been following the story of Project Tango, you will know that it was not an affordable product, as they asked for it $1024. But its price will suffer a cut of 50%, so that more people start playing with their technology, which with it actually will capitalize on their chances.

They also intend that its availability to be wider, so people who have it available soon would ask, so probably what they have done is create more units. They want it to become a more affordable product for developers, the same thing will not happen that Google Glass, who had to return to the laboratory.
