Twitter tests app install card to advertise applications in profiles

Though many users navigate daily for Twitter to read what other users or news say, the company is not going through a good moment. On the New York Stock Exchange Twitter had very low numbers and after the resignation of Costolo, former CEO, they are now looking to monetize everything possible to restore the faith of investors.

The way to get the confidence of buyers again in the stock market is to provide good services and new functions. Now it seems that Twitter will advertise applications profiles. This is what they wanted to try on Twitter, in its version for iOS (if the experiment works it will be in other platforms) incorporating a card that redirects the user from a Twitter account that in this case we see is The New York Times, in its application to mobile devices. But not only regarding news accounts, but in application profiles as Periscope or Vine.

This method of listing applications for download is a good way to get income, but ask that to Facebook. If introduced beyond Twitter profiles, it might be a good amount of profit through advertising applications. Many users will disagree with this series of advertising on the mobile application but they need to look further at the company. There are good times to offer such a service and maintain tweets when incomes are low.

This novelty is for now only in the version for iOS but will be for Android users if all goes well. Now only hope that Twitter check if thus publicizing applications even suggesting a series of them according to our tastes, can regain investor confidence.
